3.1.2
Stand Alone Operation
In this mode (see Figure 3-3), the board is not controlled by the host by using the COP port.
It may connect to the host by using one of its other ports (for example, the RS232 port), Fast
Ethernet port, ATM155 port, and so on. Operating in this mode requires programming an
application program into the board’s Flash memory.
